Financial support
The financial resources of the Fondation Autisme come exclusively from donations and bequests.
Contributions may be one-time or recurring, even in amounts that might seem modest—but are never insignificant. They may be given directly (from you) or indirectly: through your company, patrons you may know, and so forth.
The operating costs of the Fondation Autisme are kept extremely low, ensuring that donations are directed toward its core missions: scientific research and solidarity initiatives.
Practical details on how to contribute can be found on the “How to make a donation”
Volunteering
Because of limited human resources, the Fondation Autisme focuses on its central mission – advancing scientific research—and on its duty of solidarity, expressed through financial support for certain associative initiatives, typically led by small but deserving organizations with limited means.
Other activities could flourish with additional volunteer support. For example :
- Regular publication of “Friends of Fondation Autisme Newsletter” to share new scientific advances or autism-related news.
- Identifying families willing to contribute to science by participating in specific research protocols.
If you have basic skills in science or medicine and would like to contribute, please do not hesitate to reach out by email.
Participating in research projects
The research projects supported by the Fondation Autisme often require the formation of cohorts or study groups.
Most often, these projects are governed by a strict legal framework that ensures, among other things, the ethical dimensions of Research Involving Human Participants – that is, studies organized and conducted on healthy or ill volunteers with the aim of advancing biological or medical knowledge.
For details on current projects and how to participate, please consult the Fondation Autisme Facebook page.
